If you want to share a Webpage encoded as a QR Code, you can shorten it first so your QR Code has less information and, therefore, is compatible with more readers. You’ll also be able to edit the target URL in the future without re-printing the code and access stats.
Follow these steps:
- Open QR Droid, selected options, Create and choose Web Address
- Enter the URL you want to encode into a QR Code and touch “Shorten URL“
- You can now continue to see your QR Code
If you need to edit or delete this short URL in the future, just select the option “More” followed by “Short URLs”.
Then touch the short URL you need to edit and choose the appropriate option:
